Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics as an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next 11 years. Biles took home a medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began participating in the elite level of competition. Within two years she had dominated this event. Biles distinguished herself by being constant, possessing an enthusiastic and energetic personality and incorporating the most difficult of exercises into all her events - vault uneven floor workouts.
