Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. Over 20 albums have been made available by her. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk-rock and alternative rock although it has additional elements of punk, funk, hip hop and jazz. Ani Difranco is considered to be a feminist legend as well as a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco created her own record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had made acquaintance while studying at an institution called the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
